I was born and grew up in Italy. I have earned my BSc (2015) in Physics (with a thesis about a particular class of shell model for turbulence fluids) and my MSc in Condensed Matter Physics (2017) (with a thesis about the a DFT-study of configurational, electronic and optical properties of Silicon/Germanium heterostructures in 0-D and 2-D ) at the University of Rome-Tor Vergata.
As a PhD candidate in Eindhoven, my current work focuses on the development and application of a multiscale simulation to study electronic excitations and their dynamics in molecular materials for Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) combining Molecular Dynamics with beyond-DFT Many-Body Green’s Function Theory (GW-BSE).
